First of all, I want to Praise the Almighty God for His faithfulness, grace and mercy upon KWC Ministry. As you visit our website, I believe you will be blessed and greatly encouraged to see what God has achieved through our ministry with your help and support.

KWC was started just as a fellowship to be conducted once a month. Then, as the months rolled by the number fellowships increased to twice in a month which later, turned to every Sunday. It was in one of the Sunday school classes that I taught at DPSD, I noticed that many of the children who were from a wealthy family but lack Christian discipline and moral value. It shocked me even more to know that most of the children don’t know even how to read their Bibles. This negligence comes from the parents, who are most of the time busy with their jobs. With a heavy heart I would imagine that these children may turn into the corrupted leaders of tomorrow. It was a clear conviction from God to me to quit my job at Delhi Public School Dimapur and to start this ministry called the Kids Worship Centre. It was not an easy task for me to start with nothing, but with the help and support of many well wishers, parents and friends, it made me to go further on with this mission. There was a time when I decided to quit this plan because I was staying in a rented house with no salary income. There were so many untold difficulties that I had to endure. Among these the need for a place of worship was one of my major problems. But nevertheless God was always there for me and finally the permission was given to me to conduct my fellowship at the Hollohon Prayer Centre. The Kids Worship Centre flourished under this prayer center for a few years but through the generosity and love of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Humtsoe, a hall was given to conduct our fellowship and we finally shifted to Welford. One may ask “How KWC sustains itself financially?” Well even I am dumbstruck at how God provides the needs to run this ministry. It is simply wonderful indeed. KWC do not have any regular sponsors from outside besides the monthly contributions given by two of our board members and two KWC family members. Today KWC is a well established ministry and is still growing rapidly. It has given birth to many projects such as the Kindred Haven (boys home) where it holds 14 boys, the High Praise Music Centre where various types of music is taught and the Home Recording Studio where its main objective is to promote the young talented artists. Currently the boarders of the Kindred Haven are on the process of releasing a Christmas album, and Children Christian Library, A collection of Christian story books /adventures /Educational/CD- Movies /Christian /adventures etc. Looking back at the beginning till today KWC has really made its stand on bringing young lives closer to God.

Our concepts of leadership, mission, access, diversity and so much more are all being dramatically redefined in the face of societal and global upheaval. That means that KWC is in the middle of a great time of change. The fundamental question: What insights and skills are essential for our students in the 21st century? Just as our fore parents had the courage to explore new ways of preparing people to respond to society’s call, so too must we have that courage. KWC strive to provide and equip the students with all this so called insights and skills deemed necessary.

I want to thank our patrons for the constant love, prayer support and well wishes. We couldn't have made it without all of you. Last but not the least all that we have achieved and all our success would not have been achieved without God’s help. So through this ministry lets all be a family in Christ.
